Meet the Team

Dennis Gonzales Dennis Gonzales has been serving as Technology Director for USD 214 for the past 7 years. He brings 18 years of experience in the classroom teaching Business Apps/Communications Technology and 3 years in administration as a principal and 7 years as a Technology Director. He was born and raised in Liberal, KS and taught Communications Technology for 15 years at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School. He holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma and a Bachelor's degree in Technical Education from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Dennis served in the U.S. Navy for six years onboard two nuclear submarines, the USS George C. Marshall (SSBN 654) and USS Andrew Jackson (SSBN 619) stationed out of Holy Loch, Scotland. He is the proud father of two daughters, Maddisen and Hillary and two grandkids Liam and Lennon.

Mauri Steimel Mauri joined the USD 214 Tech Department in July of 2017. Mauri graduated from Stanton County High School in Johnson City in 2013 and went to Emporia State University in Emporia, KS where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems. Contact Information:
