Ulysses High School Scholars Bowl Team Wins Cimarron Tournament

On Monday night, November 26, 2012 the Ulysses High School Scholars Bowl Team placed first at the Cimarron tournament. Team members that day were pictured from left to right Wanda Jimenez, Bailey Twilliger, Logan Heinrichs and Nick Feezor.
Their record that night was 7-1. After a disappointing loss to Lakin in the second round they came out of pool play to face them in the match for first and second. Ulysses went on to beat Lakin 60/30 to win first place. Congratulations to the other finalists: Lakin second place, Syracuse third place, and Meade fourth place.
The team will compete again at Colby on December 3, 2012, to defend their title from last year.
