Football Fans: The Tigers hit the road this evening for week 2 action at Cimarron. 7:00 Kickoff - hope to see many of you there. Unfortunately, to our knowledge, there is no livestream available. If we find out different, we'll get that information out. GO TIGERS!!

Football update: Still waiting on lightning to clear. We’re still planning on playing, but will certainly be delayed and cannot accurately predict a start time yet.

Football update: We have taken cover to let the storm pass. Our first criteria is to monitor lightning . Nothing can happen until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike. Once we're able to take the field, the teams will get 40 minutes of warm up time prior to kickoff.

Tiger Fans -- As sports get underway, this is a reminder of the KSHSAA policy regarding use of artificial noisemakers during athletic events: --> Artificial noisemakers are prohibited while a game is in progress. They cannot be used while play is active. For football, active play means from the moment the ball is spotted for the next play until the whistle blows. --> Noisemakers that produce sound electronically will NOT be allowed. --> Host school administration have ultimate authority to ban any device if they question its appropriateness. We look forward to having crowds at our games that are full of Ulysses spirit and pride and that are willing to follow this policy while cheering on our Tigers. Thank you for your cooperation. HELP NEEDED: UHS Girls Golf will host their invitational golf tournament on Monday, September 14th. Because the tournament will be counted in the GWAC league standings this season, it requires the use of Markers (score keepers) for each group. UHS Fall Athletics Announcement: This year's Meet the Tigers - Fall Showcase will take place on Friday, August 21st. Here's the time breakdown: 5:00-5:30 (Tennis at the courts) 5:45-6:30 (Volleyball in the main gym) 6:30-7:00 (Cross Country Run) 7:00-7:15 (Golf) 7:15-8:45 (Football) XC, Golf, FB - all at Maxwell Field More details for each sport may be posted soon by the coaches.

UHS/KMS Cross Country Announcement: The first Cross Country practice will start at the Kepley Middle School Auditorium at 4:00 pm on Monday, August 17th. We will watch the Heat and Concussion videos and then have a short meeting. Please come dressed to run after the short meeting. For running: shorts shirt or tank top running shoes water bottle

UHS Cross Country Announcement: Cross Country Seniors will have banner pictures at 12pm at MonaLisa’s studio on Thursday 8/6. Seniors will need to reach out to Coach Gaddis with their uniform size for the picture.

Reminder that the second offering of FREE PHYSICALS for the 2026-27 school year will be held on Tuesday, August 4th from 3:00-6:00pm for 7th-12th grade Ulysses students at CommonSpirit Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital. Students must have a physical on file in order to start fall athletic practice on August 17th.
