The basketball games in Goodland originally scheduled for Friday, January 9th, will be played on Monday, January 19th at the normally scheduled times.
Update on basketball in Goodland: Due to poor road conditions and extreme temperatures, we will NOT travel to Goodland today. A make up date for the games will be determined on Monday and we'll let everyone know when the games will be played. Stay safe out there.
Due to the serious nature of the snow and poor road conditions in the area, the UHS wrestling events scheduled for tomorrow, Sat 1/10, (Boys in Lamar, Girls in Dodge) will NOT be attended.
An update on wrestling scheduled for tomorrow in Lamar and in Dodge City will be posted later this afternoon.
The UHS basketball games scheduled for today at Goodland will be played tomorrow, 1/10. The varsity girls will start at 5:30 CST with the two varsity games played in Max Jones Field House. The JV boys will play at 5:30 in the Auxiliary gym followed by a half game of JV girls. There will be no C-team boys game. The coaches will be communicating with players in regard to the bus leave time and who will be traveling.
Due to the school cancellation today, all UHS Athletic Events for today are cancelled as well.
An update on plans for tomorrow will be posted later today.
UHS Wrestling and Basketball all have events scheduled for today, January 9th. Due to the inclement weather forecasted, we will make decisions regarding each event as our leave time approaches.

We will NOT make the trip to Lamar for girl's wrestling.
We will make a decision regarding boy's wrestling in Dodge City later this morning, and a decision on the trip to Goodland for basketball will be made by noon.

Due to high winds, Liberal schools have cancelled all travel for the day. Therefore, the wrestling dual at the Tiger Pit will be postponed. We will be looking for an alternative date for the dual and will announce that date when it is determined.
Tiger Wrestling Fans:
We will host a dual vs. Liberal tomorrow, Thursday, 12/18, starting at 6:00. The dual will be held at the Tiger Pit and admission is FREE. Come on out to see some exciting girls and boys wrestling.

Lady Tigers fall to Wray 39-50 and the Tiger boys take the win vs Wray 64-48.
The UHS basketball games at the Topside Tipoff Tournament in Goodland will be livestreamed.
Games Thursday and Friday will be at 3:00 (girls) and 5:00 (boys) CST. Game times on Saturday still to be determined.
