Tonight's UHS Basketball Games (2/17/2026) vs Holcomb will be Varsity only with the girl's game starting at 6 PM with boys to follow. SR. Recognition & the Cheerleaders performance tonight will also take place. This is subject to change if weather conditions do not allow Holcomb to travel safely.

Tonight's (2/17/2026) UHS basketball games will be played at their regular schedule times along with all senior recognition that is scheduled. At this time Holcomb has decided to travel for tonight's events. The UHS Varsity wrestlers will have practice no earlier than 5 PM. This subject to change if weather conditions deteriorate.

USD 214 will be closing school tomorrow due to the predicted sustained high winds & wind gusts exceeding 60 mph producing reduced visibility due to blowing dust. The status of scheduled night activities for tomorrow are yet to be determined a decision will be made at a later time.

Ezra Montoya is the third-grade student of the week. Ezra is high achieving in all subject areas. He is curious and comes up with insightful questions and comments. He is helpful to his peers and works well with others. Ezra is a great asset to our class!

Leah Shapland is this week's fourth grade student of the week. Leah is a wonderful student and she is always caught doing what is right. She works hard to keep up good grades and always helps when needed. She is a great addition to our classroom family!!

This week's 5th grade student of the week is Cristian Guillen. He is a very kind young man. He follows ROAR day in and day out, and leads by example. He is also a hard worker who always strives for excellence. I can not wait to see where life will take Cristian.

Food Drive Challenge: Each grade level collect at least 67 or more non perishable food items to donate to Loaves and Fishes. Bring items to the office and we will stack on the stage for kids to see and count!
