UHS will be hosting student-led, parent-teacher conferences this spring. It is our intention that creating individualized time slots for students and parents will provide uninterrupted access to learn about your student’s educational progress as well as an opportunity for you to learn important upcoming events that affect their learning. The expectation is that both you and your son or daughter will attend.
Conferences will be held in the Seminar advisor’s homeroom, with the advisor present, but led by your son or daughter. Each scheduled conference will be 20 minutes long. After the student-led conference with the advisor, parents are then allowed a 20-minute OPEN time frame to talk with any other subject area teacher. If your child is struggling in a class, it is our hope that you will have been in touch with that teacher well before these conference dates or at any other time after these dates.

UHS organizará conferencias de padres y maestros dirigidas por estudiantes este año. Nuestra intención es que la creación de franjas horarias individualizadas para estudiantes y padres proporcione acceso ininterrumpido para aprender sobre el progreso educativo de su estidiante, asi como una oportunidad para que usted se entere sobre eventos importantes que afectan su aprendizaje. La expectativa es que tanto usted como su hijo(a) asistan.
Las conferencias se llevarán a cabo en al sala de inicio del asesor del seminario, con ek asesor presente, pero dirigido por su hijo(a). Cada conferencia programada tendrá una duración de 20 minutos. Después de la conferencia dirigida por el estudiante con elasesor, a los padres se les permite un plazo de 20 minutos para hablar con cualquier otro profesor de área temática. Si su hijo lucha en una clase, es nuestra esperanza que habrá estado en el contacto con ese profesor bien antesde estas fechas de la conferencia o en cualquier otro tiempo después de estas conferencias.
