Join us for a FREE Lunch!

April 26, 2022

Summer Food Program feeds Kids for FREE!

With summer right around the corner, it's time to think about keeping children eating healthy while school is out. Opaa! Food Service has partnered with Ulysses USD 214 again this year to bring meals to children during the summer.

This summer, meals will be served May 31, 2022 to July 19, 2022 at Ulysses High School, Story Walk, Rus Binney Park, Barb Dye Park, and Kepley Middle School starting at 11:00 am Monday through Friday. There are no income requirements or registration. Any child 18 years of age and under may come to eat. For more information contact Michelle Ewalt, Director for Nutrition Services with Opaa! Food Management at 620-309-1473 or mewalt@opaafood.com

Each year, the United States Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Ulysses USD 214 to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. Any child 18 years of age or under may come and eat. For more information about the Summer Food Service Program in Kansas, visit www.kn-eat.org, Summer Food Program.
